How Can It Be October Already?

 All of us who work and volunteer at Harrisburg First Church of God are excited and are working so hard to make the fall programs successful and enjoyable for you who use and participate in the ministries we offer here.  Here is a little bit of what we have to offer you. 

In the Church's ministries:

·      Our Music Ministries are revving up.  Please join us in praising God and leading His people in praise.  The 8:30 AM Praise Band and the 11:00 AM Choir are continuing and are a joy to hear and to lead us in worshiping God.

·      Our Educational Ministries - Sunday school for kids, teens, AND adults have begun.  Make sure that you (not just the kids!) are participating in AT LEAST ONE spiritual growth opportunity.

·      Our Women’s Ministries include a once a month Bible Study and a sewing ministry called “Common Threads”.  Prayer Shawls, Baby Blankets, and more will be made to give to the sick and those in need.  All ladies are welcome to attend.  Come and learn how to crochet and knit.

·      Our Youth now have a youth room downstairs with billiards.  Check it out!

·      Our web site is fantastic.  Visit it at www.harrisburgfirstchurch.org.

·      Our Wednesday night suppers are in full swing.  Come and bring your family out at 5:30 PM and have dinner.

·      Our Wednesday evening Prayer/Bible Study is on Wednesday beginning at 6:15 PM.  Our current study is on the Psalms.

·      Our Choir meets every Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM.  Come out and be a part of this exciting group as they lead us in Sunday morning worship praising God.

·      Our Men’s Ministry meets once a month and our current study book is by Max Lucado, He Still Moves Stones. 

There is SO MUCH offered at Harrisburg First and it's all offered to serve God and his people.  Be sure to take part in all that you can and I know you will be richly blessed!
